Back from California

Monday, January 9th, 2006

We got home from California last night. We were going to spend the night at a hotel in Ashland, but we decided to just do it all in one day.
I got a cool picture of Mt. Shasta out the window on our way back:

BTW, right now, Steve is probably saying “Oh, and one more thing…”, as he introduces a new line of laptops…

UPDATE: You can get a 1024×768 version of that picture here.

Apple stores

Friday, January 6th, 2006

We’ve been staying at my aunt and uncle’s house in Menlo Park (near Palo Alto) for the last two days, and yesterday we went to the Apple store at Stanford Shopping Center (above). Then, today we went to Concord to stay in a hotel for the wedding. On our way here, we walked around San Francisco for a few hours, and we got to go to the Apple store (yeah, the one with the glass staircase). I took some pictures, but they’re on grandma Nini’s camera, and I don’t have an SD card adapter with me.
We also got to see the Moscone Center, where MacWorld Expo will take place in two days. Unfortunately, we have to leave on Sunday, so we’ll be missing the Expo.

Leaving for California

Monday, January 2nd, 2006

I’ll be leaving for California tomorrow until the 10th. We’ll be in the Bay Area, for a wedding.

The Byte Factory

Monday, January 2nd, 2006

As of today (okay, yesterday), The Byte Factory has officially started. Starting a software company on January 1st makes it a lot easier to remember how long it’s been in existence.
