Resurrecting old computers

We brought the old G3 tower into my room, and I installed Tiger on it and updated the software. It’s only 350MHz, which is too slow to run an AirPort card, so I’m using the super-powerful wifi antenna that I made. But since the receiver is made by D-Link it overheats easily, and the dish of the antenna makes it overheat even more. So I set up a fan to cool it down, which works really well. However, there are now at least 12 power cables connected to outlets in my room, and it’s threatening to short circuit.

hey seems if your room is getting cluttered again. when i went to your house(room)last time i thought it was messy with allthe computer stuff all overthe desk but now you’ve migrated to the floor

Actually, the desk is still the same as when you saw it (if not worse!), but it’s *expanded* to the floor now.

Oh uh, well, I… :P But there’s one major problem in my room: a USB cable suspended about a foot above the ground across the middle of the room. :P
